How to launch into data and tech

Apprenticeships

Earn while you learn with an apprenticeship. You’ll get hands-on experience working for a business alongside training sessions to build your knowledge. At the end of your apprenticeship you’ll have real job experience, formal qualifications and hopefully a permanent contract.

Training

Upskill or retrain with government or personally funded courses to enhance your CV. Many training providers also offer career support to help you land a role once you’ve completed your training. Also look out for courses that offer industry recognised certifications like CompTIA.
